Dr. Meghann Hamidiani
Dr. Hamidiani obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology and minor in Spanish from the University of Vermont. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and collegiate equestrian team. She earned her degree in Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, graduating at the top of her class with highest honors. During optometry school, Dr. H completed her externship training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute focusing on the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. She was the recipient of the Volk Ocular disease award as well as a member of both the Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key Honor Societies. After graduation, Dr. H was residency trained at the W.G Bill Hefner VA Hospital where she continued to expand her knowledge of ocular disease. Dr. Hamidiani is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and North Carolina State Optometric Society.
In her time outside of the office, Dr. H enjoys hiking with her husband Peter and french bulldog Claude!
