Dr. Scott Nishek

Dr. Scott Nishek brings over two decades of expert eye care experience to our Lincolnton community. Born in Florida, he moved to Statesville in 1987, later earning his Biology degree from Appalachian State University and his Doctorate of Optometry (with clinical honors) from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. His extensive background includes two years serving our veterans as a staff optometrist at the Beckley, WV VA Medical Center, where he gained deep experience managing advanced eye diseases. He also completed specialized pediatric training to care for infants and children at the Eye Institute in Philadelphia.

Deeply involved in the community, Dr. Nishek is a past president of the Catawba Valley Optometric Society, a member of the Lincolnton Rotary Club, and proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce.

Outside the clinic, he is an avid sports fan who loves cheering on both ASU and UNC sports, playing racquetball, traveling, and homebrewing. Above all, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and is incredibly proud of his “girls”: his wife, Christy; his oldest daughter, Lindy, a data scientist in Texas; and his youngest, Isabel, a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Nishek always looks forward to welcoming returning faces and meeting new patients!
